This route leads the rider on a splendid adventure to the famous White Rock of Goodhue County. The route is on predominantly low traffic gravel roads that go nowhere. The northern section of the route is flat while the southern portion incorporates some enjoyable climbs. For the intrepid rider who wishes to view the rock firsthand, there is a hiking trail on the right side of the road at mile 36.5 that leads to the big rock.

The route starts and finishes at Spring Lake Park Reserve, which has modern heated restrooms, drinking water, and sometimes a small herd of bison wandering about.

Riders should be prepared to ride the nearly 60 miles from Miesville to Vermillion with no services or confirm that the Blue Dog Cafe in Welch will be open when you pass through.

The Welch Station of the Cannon Trail is very near the route in Miesville and is a beautiful spot for a break. It has restrooms, seasonally available drinking water, shaded picnic tables, and free Wi-Fi.
