This route begins in the City Parking Lot in Downtown Shakopee. Wampach's Restaurant is well known for breakfasts and Bravis Modern Street Food is a great choice to refuel after the ride. The route travels out of the Minnesota River Valley and passes Lake O'Dowd on the way to southern Scott County on the way to Marystown, Veseli, and Saint Benedict featuring rolling hills and lots of rural farms and forests. A control in New Prague with Kwik Trip, Speedway or Caseys will help you to refuel and relax for a bit. On the return, the route skirts Jordan on the way to Bluff Drive, a common spot of hill repeat training for area cyclists. The total amount of elevation change is approximately 2,500' making this route an ideal introduction to gravel.
