Colleges are known for hard work, good food, and great times! Join MN Randos for a college tour you will not forget. We will be visiting 19 institutions of higher education (full list below). Controls are selected so you can either enjoy local college fare or make a quick stop at a C- Store. It is recommended that you enjoy at least one local restaurant on this Brevet. The Acoustic Cafe in Menomonie has a good selection of biker fuel or there is a large variety of restaurants on Water Street in Eau Claire for any taste. While the first quarter requires close navigation the remainder of the ride is easy from a navigational perspective. It is a diverse and enjoyable experience throughout. 

 

Logistics:

1) If driving, parking is $9-18 by Credit Card, other options exist, but this is Minneapolis. 

 

2) It is recommended that you bring a light lock so that you are comfortable stopping at the Acoustic Cafe in Menomonie or any of the restaurants on Water St. in Eau Clair. 

 

3) This ride will include night riding, so bring front and rear lights and a reflective vest. Navigation is important for the first quarter of the ride, so an extra helmet light/head lamp would also be helpful (but not required). 

 

4) Electronic Ride Waiver

We have worked with RUSA on an electronic ride waiver that we are now rolling out for all of our rides. This will replace our paper waivers at the start. We will still bring some as a backup. Once you click submit, an email with a download link of the electronic waiver will be sent to you, to the Minnesota RBA (Norman Ehrentreich), and to the RUSA insurance account. After that, you will be sent back to a landing page on the mnrando.org site that you can close.Sign your electronic waiver prior to the ride:
