Our classic driftless 200k brevet with 8,300' of climbing, 12 hills including a couple of real kickers, and a timeless Wisconsin bar and grill at the finish to replenish yourself. This is a great Coulee Challenge training run. Suggestion for early risers: If you want a nice breakfast before the ride, there is Beths's Twin Bluffs Cafe, (http://www.bethstwinbluffscafe.com/) which opens at 6:30. Note they only take cash, no credit cards. I enjoyed having breakfast there shortly before the ride.
Nelson is just across the river from Wabasha, about a 2 hour drive from the Cities so if you want to do a layover either before or after the ride, there are hotels in Wabasha.
The route is out and back. The official RWGPS link has the full 200k route, but if your Garmin/Wahoo doesn't handle overlapping routes very well, here are the links for the outbound and inbound routes.

Electronic Ride Waiver
We have worked with RUSA on an electronic ride waiver that we are now rolling out for all of our rides. This will replace our paper waivers at the start. We will still bring some as a backup. You can click here to go to the MN Randonneurs SmartWaiver page. Please fill out the form there with all the requested information. Once you click submit, an email with a download link of the electronic waiver will be sent to you, to the Minnesota RBA (Norman Ehrentreich), and to the RUSA insurance account. After that, you will be sent back to a landing page on the mnrando.org site that you can close.
