Another Apple Valley classic brevet route with some significant upgrades, including stints on three rural bike trails (the Mill Towns Trail - near Cannon Falls, Great River Ridge Trail out of Plainview and the unique Goodhue Pioneer Trail near Zumbrota. Expect rollers and several decent climbs and descents after you leave Cannon Falls and return again 120 miles later, after visiting Goodhue, Plainview and Zumbrota along the way.
This route also enjoys three nice sections along the Zumbrota River and a beautiful valley heading through Theilman to Plainview.
The finishing 10 mile trek on CR-46/160th St which has been our standard way in and out of town for more than 10 years has been changed due to increasing traffic and more large truck traffic. The revised route is on much quieter, safer roads.
