Minnesota Randonneurs Board Challenge Week 10 July 13-19
Wow! We blew the doors off this week. Our total # of qualifying rides (50k+) was up 23% for a total of 153. A lot of riders logged some shorter rides, but we had a good number of 200k rides too.
Keith Morical, Mn Rando Board Member and long distance rider extraordinaire completed his amazing cycling adventure, touching 48 states in 31 days, riding a total of 7,065 miles. Our suggested goal for this week was to push our weekly # of rides or total distance and, as a group we did this very well. We also increased the number of riders participating, some for the first time. Summer is in full swing, I’m glad to see we’re out on our bikes on roads and trails all over the state and around the US and internationally.
Here’s a couple other factoids that indicates how busy our club members have been:
· Our Minnesota Randonneurs Strava Club membership is now at 119
· 72 riders completed at least one 50 km ride or longer in the past week.
· 95 riders uploaded at least one ride to the Minnesota Randonneurs Strava Club site last week.

The Board Challenge for July 13-19
We had a great week, keep it going. Weather in Minnesota looks pretty decent for the next week, with no really hot days for a while – get out and ride, ride, ride!
